About us

Green Label Creative offers custom website design and development, marketing, and communications services to mindful brands in British Columbia.

Behind the Label

Our operating name, “Green Label Creative” is derived from the term ‘White Label’— a product or service produced by one company that other companies rebrand to make it appear as if they had made it, OR in other words, the practice of branding a product with your company’s name and logo instead of the manufacturer’s. We exist to help businesses who offer authentic, eco-friendly (‘green’) products and experiences, to form and convey their brand; we introduce them to the right language, visuals, and tactics to highlight their offerings with impact.

Our brand drew inspiration from the land, wildlife, and culture that make British Columbia a diverse and vibrant, world-renowned destination. The topographic lines traversing each page, the imagery, and accent colours are all an ode to traits of our beautiful province. When people interact with our brand, we want them to feel the allure of nature, a shared responsibility to protect it, and a desire to respect and honour the diverse cultures within BC. We are warm, welcoming, and passionate about preserving the wild spaces we all enjoy.

Colour

Our colour palette aims to inject you with energy. It was influenced by colours often seen in BC’s wild spaces — we nod to our old-growth forests, moss covered rocks, and the highly integral, wild Pacific salmon.

Logo

Our logo showcases a label, with an element of nature; a leaf, stemming from the ‘G’ in “Green Label Creative.” We incorporated Geometos and a refined variant of Foda Display, which are simple, yet bold fonts for a statement display.

Typography

Our typeface feels familiar and legible utilizing both Source Serif and Playfair Display fonts. As a key aspect of our design, these were smoothly integrated as overlay on lively visuals and a topographic background.
